Dr Julie Wang graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1998 and has been working in general practice since 2001. She has been an accredited Shared Care Provider since 2005.

Dr Wang has extensive experience managing newborn and general paediatric problems and women’s health. She believes that Shared Care ensures patients have ongoing, high quality health care throughout an exciting and important life event.

Dr Wang is accredited with Box Hill Hospital, Angliss Hospital, Monash Health, Mercy Health, Royal Women’s Hospital, Northern Health and Western Health.

Dr Rosie Gentle is a GP with special interests in women’s health and paediatric medicine. She is accredited to do shared care through Eastern Health, Monash Health, Mercy Hospital, and the Royal Women’s Hospital. Rosie undertook her certificate in Women’s Health whilst completing her obstetric term at Eastern Health where she did her training before coming to general practice.

Dr Rosie believes that every woman’s pregnancy is a unique journey and should be managed that way, based around the woman and her needs.

Dr Gentle loves getting to know the expectant mother throughout her pregnancy and works hard to help a new mother and her family get ready for life with a newborn through Share Antenatal Care.

One thing Dr Gentle is deeply passionate about is advocating for her patients and being able to support them during their pregnancy, often calling and liaising with the hospitals to help manage patients and develop plans.

The highlights of Shared Antenatal Care for Dr Gentle include sharing the initial excitement of pregnancy with the new mom, sharing the excitement of a newborn and the fact she can continue care after birth for the new mother and baby, be it with feeding issues, sleep issues or universal support for mother and baby.
